The World's Most Powerful LMS™
I searched everywhere for the perfect learning platform. I evaluated WordPress with various LMS plugins. I tried Circle, Teachable, Upcoach, ThriveCart Learn+, and more. None of them had what I needed.
I wanted granular engagement - the ability for students to react to, comment on, and save individual paragraphs, not just entire lessons. I wanted a knowledge base that would automatically link related concepts throughout my content. I wanted flexible organization so my course structure could be as deep and organized as my subject matter required.
I wanted students to be able to color-code their favorites, highlight content with different colors, and build personal to-do lists from the material itself... just like I personally do when I read and study.
No platform had these features. So I built my own.
Course Gorilla is the LMS I wish had existed.
A note on speed: Course Gorilla prioritizes interactivity and engagement over raw performance. Every content block supports reactions, comments, favorites, highlights, and to-do tracking. This richness means it's not the fastest LMS out there - but it's the most interactive.
Five powerful ways to structure and present your educational content.
The building blocks of your curriculum. Modules can contain lessons, sub-modules, or other modules - nest them as deep as your content requires. No artificial limits on how you organize your material.
Group modules into purchasable packages. Sell a complete course, a certification program, or a collection of related content. One purchase unlocks everything in the bundle.
Cross-cutting labels that help students discover content by topic. Tag modules with subjects like "Beginner", "Advanced", "Case Study", or any categories that make sense for your curriculum.
Build a knowledge base of key terms and ideas. Define a concept once, and the system automatically links to it throughout your content whenever that term appears. Students can explore connected ideas naturally.
A dedicated gallery for visual learning resources. Wide-format images, diagrams, and charts get their own browsable collection. Students can click to view full-screen and jump to the source module for context.
Every paragraph, bullet point, image, and formula is its own engageable unit. Students don't just consume lessons - they interact with individual pieces of content that matter to them.
Students don't just read - they interact with every piece of content. These tools help them study the way they naturally want to.
Save content with a click. Cycle through 7 colors to create a personal organization system - by priority, topic, or any scheme that works for them.
Students can name each color in their profile.
Highlight content with colored backgrounds - like a digital highlighter pen. Create a personal color-coding system for studying.
Combine with favorites for double-marking important content.
Build a learning checklist from the content itself. Mark content as "To Do", then "Done" when mastered. Track completion on the dashboard.
React to individual content blocks. Four reactions help you understand what's resonating and what needs improvement.
Students can comment on specific paragraphs, not just at the bottom of a page. Discussions happen right where they're relevant.
Students mark modules complete. Green checkmarks appear on every link to that module throughout the site - they see their progress at a glance as they navigate.
Course Gorilla wasn't designed to sell to a million users at $100/month. This is custom software I built to serve my own audience at RealEstateFinancialPlanner.com.
If you're a business owner who needs an LMS with these capabilities and you're prepared to invest in a custom installation, I'd be happy to discuss whether Course Gorilla is the right fit for your needs.
